Bitterness

I share this poem to those people who have been hurt... 

BITTERNESS 

The sun is setting in the sky 

So as my hopes when you said goodbye 

Why did I have to meet you and be a part of me? 

If things between us were not meant to be? 

My life was perfectly fine before you came 

I lived with principles, now I live with broken frames 

Why did I have to love you

When you can't love me the way I want you to? 

When I didn't feel like smiling, you made me smile 

When I was feeling down, you lifted me up high 

You made me feel special, you made me feel alive 

I held on to your promises, but I found out those were lies 

Sometimes fate works in tricky ways 

Sometimes loving is a total waste 

I know I'll forget the pain and I'll dry the tears 

But I can never forget how you hurt me even in a million years.
